Our Doctors

Dr Kirsten Dukelow

Dr Kirsten Dukelow was born and raised in Winnipeg Manitoba, but moved to Victoria with her family in 1993. From the age of 10 she knew she wanted to be an Optometrist, so after completing her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Victoria, she moved to Waterloo Ontario to attend the University of Waterloo School of Optometry. While in Ontario she met her husband Nick and they were thrilled to be able to move back to Victoria after graduating in 2005. She has been practicing in Victoria now for almost 10 years, and has enjoyed every minute of it. She has two young children, Gracie and Kellan, and enjoys spending as much time with her family as she can. She has a strong passion for her work and takes pride in providing primary eye care to the community.

Dr. Angelee Verma

Dr. Angelee Verma was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia. After completing her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of British Columbia, she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo. She has gained unique experiences through a clinical research internship at the University of New South Wales (Sydney, Australia) and a disease externship at the OMNI Eye Centre (Atlanta, Georgia). Angelee is passionate about traveling and exploring new cultures, inspired by her participation in third world eye care in Thailand, Burma and India. In 2009, her love for the west coast brought her to Victoria where she enjoys this city’s natural beauty and rich arts and culture.

Dr. Meaghan Goddard

Dr. Meaghan Goddard joins us all the way from Sudbury, Ontario. After completing her Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Kinesiology, she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo. An externship at the Eye Foundation of Utah enhanced her skills in disease management and her participation in third world eye care missions to Guatemala and Paraguay solidified her passion for providing quality eye care to those in need. After practicing optometry is Ontario, a chance visit to Victoria with her husband convinced them that they had found the place they should call home. In her spare time she likes to spend as much time outdoors with daughter and son as possible as well as the occasional round of golf in Victoria or attempts at surfing in Tofino.
